One Eye On The Sky

As you probably have heard, there has been a volcano eruption on Iceland causing a huge ash cloud over parts of the northern hemisphere. It interrupts flights and causes tons of problem…but is absolutely amazing.

I can imagine the ash will produce some beautiful sunsets around the globe as well!

This is a really cool collection of weird clouds. The author of the video thinks they are UFO-ships and I must agree it looks like it. Check it out but turn off your speakers (the music is awful):

Do you have any ideas what this is? What made these holes in the clouds? It looks really cool, though!

I took this photo in Monteverde, Costa Rica, it was the second of two photos. The first one was ruined since the flash was on. The tube was even further down then. I thought it looked a bit like a tornado, it was a very peculiar cloud nonetheless. It turned out to be a phenomenon caused by cold air pushing downwards or something.
